High Performance Sport Symposium - Pinnacle Events
Register to see Noeline Taurua (Silver Ferns), Tony Brown (Japan Rugby) and Leonard King (NZ Basketball) speak about what it takes to prepare a team for a World Cup event.
Noeline will talk about what happened behind the scenes at the INF Netball World Cup, where the Silver Ferns triumphed and became world champions.
Registration for the 12-11-2019 day of the symposium is free and open to anyone wanting to improve their knowledge of elite coaching.

Noeline Taurua
Noeline Taurua is the current Silver Ferns netball head coach and former Silver fern player. Noeline coached the Silver Ferns to their first World title in 16 years at this year's World Championships in Liverpool. She is also head coach of the Sunshine Coast Lightning in the Australian Suncorp Super Netball competition, who have won two consecutive titles and are chasing their third.

Tony Brown
Tony Brown is a former New Zealand rugby player, who played mainly at first five-eighth. He is the assistant coach for the Japan national rugby union team which will be competing at the Rugby World Cup. Having previously been the head coach of Otago and the Highlanders in the Super Rugby competition, Tony will be returning to Dunedin after the World Cup to re-join the Highlanders coaching staff for the 2020 season.

Leonard King
Leonard King is a former American professional basketball player who played in New Zealand as an import for various teams from 1991 to 1997. For most of that time he was the star player for the Otago Nuggets in the NBL. He is the 4th All-time leading scorer in the history of the NBL averaging 25.6 points a game. Leonard is currently the General Manager of High Performance for NZ Basketball.
